* Different sizes available.
Application
Installed in the tail gas treatment reactor downstream of the Claus unit. Residual SO₂, COS, CS₂ and sulfur vapour are hydrogenated over the Co-Mo catalyst back to H₂S, which is recovered and recycled to the Claus plant, cutting stack emissions.
Key product capabilities and benefits
- RCAT®-4210 for conventional reheater temperatures above 280 °C
- RCAT®-4211 for low-temperature operation down to 220 °C, reducing reheat fuel consumption
